It is interesting to me that there are so many people that still believe Barack Obama is Pro-Life. That is simply not true. One thing about Obama is that he could sell snow to an Eskimo and lipstick to a pig. But here’s the problem: The Eskimo doesn’t need the ice and the lipstick won’t do the pig any good. (Sorry to use the pig analogy…)

Barack Obama has been able to pull off something that, even if he doesn’t lose, will make people look back after this election and say, “What were we thinking?” He is the slickest of snake oil salesmen. He can look at the camera and rattle off a series of meaningless words, words that mean absolutely nothing when you put them together and his followers, in a seemingly hypnotic state, sway and say, “Where you lead us, we will follow.”

This is what he has done with, sadly, a part of the church. Why would otherwise God-fearing folk trust this man with their cat, much less with their country?! The things he has proposed to do to the unborn children in this country is demonic, yet there are so many people who call in to Christian Radio and voice their displeasure at the host of the show for singling him out for one little issue like abortion. These people always start out saying that they fear God and read His word and then say that abortion is just one of many issues.

Pardon me, sirs and madams, but abortion is the issue that either validates or nullifies a candidates credentials concerning all other issues. Their views on life and family characterize how they intend to look after the people they presume to represent. Any man or woman who is pro-death for a child is going to be pro-death when it comes to the elderly as well (euthanasia, anyone?).   They will be for higher taxes because all of the social programs instituted to compensate for the murder of the innocent must be paid for. Ironically, they are pro-life only when it pertains to someone on death row who has killed a family or a police officer or their own children.

Let me say this clearly: Barack Obama wants to kill babies in the womb, no matter what stage of development that baby is in. In no uncertain terms, in his view, there is no reason why a woman should not be allowed to have an abortion.

Barack spoke at Planned Parenthood on July 17, 2007. In his speech, he said this: “Well, the first thing I’d do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” Did you hear that? Let me show you again so you don’t miss it. “Well, the first thing I’d do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” That is his exact quote, every word.

Do you know what the Freedom of Choice Act is? It is a freedom to kill card that has no limits. That’s what it is. You can kill your unborn child for any reason at all or no reason at all. Can anyone in good concience vote for this man? Let me ask it a different way. Can any Christian, any God-fearing Christian, one who truly is born-again look at this man and say, “I want him to be my next president”? If you can, I pray that God would open your eyes and show you the truth. I pray that God will have mercy on you for putting your value system above His value system.

I’m sorry to be so blunt on this issue but this is the most liberal candidate who has ever run for president.  He is dangerous and deceitful. There are scales covering the eyes of so many.  It is my hope that they will wake up and see clearly for the first time since he has been running for the office of president. 

Christians, we must wake up to what’s going on around us.  Someone who looks good and is articulate can suddenly be president without any accountability to God’s word?  Does righteousness mean anything anymore?  Is it all about the economy?  I can only pray that when November 4th comes around, Christians will not leave God outside of the voting booth.
