There’s a killer hiding in the dark recesses of the Senate and when it is released, watch out!  It’s known by the one who created this killer as the Freedom of Choice Act.

The Freedom Of Choice Act is a little known bill introduced to congress by California Senator Barbara Boxer and endorsed by many of her elite friends on the left (click the word ‘Freedom’ above to see the bill as it sits in limbo for now).  What is FOCA exactly?

FOCA is a bill that would wipe out any and all existing laws that restrict abortion in any way, like parental consent laws, partial birth laws and any other laws that would apply.  Dare I say that passing this bill would usher in an era of unprecedented child-sacrifice that would otherwise have been unthinkable?  I believe it would. 

I’m sorry to say that this could happen.  If Barack Obama is elected president, it will happen.  He told a gathering of people at a Planned Parenthood event on July 17, 2007, “Well, the first thing I’d do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act.  That’s the first thing that I’d do.”     

My only question is this, “Does he mean it?”  This is an important question because Obama is the master of eloquent speech.  He knows what to say and right when to say it.  Obama made this statement as one of three speakers along with Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Edwards (I guess Elizabeth’s husband John was working late on a special project and couldn’t make it).  So it’s highly possible that he was just trying to seem as radically left-winged as he could in order to outdo the other two speakers.  Heaven knows that the media would never ask him such a question.  Could you imagine Tom Brokaw allowing a question on abortion to enter the fray?  So, was he just blowing smoke?  After all, he also said that the first thing he would do as president would be to repeal DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act signed by Bill Clinton, which would do away with any state law stating that marriage is between one man and one woman.

It would be a simple thing to find out.  Just look at his record.  The fact that the Planned Parenthood branch of Illinois and Naral Pro-Choie America both gave him a 100% rating while The National Right To Life Committee gave him a 0% rating says quite a bit.

Bottom Line?  He means it.  He would pass this bill and not bat an eye.  He would probably sign this bill with one hand while signing a bill to repeal DOMA with the other hand.  Yes, death is at the door.  My prayer, though, is that no one answers it, that this man is kept as far away from the White House as possible.

The only way for this to happen is to vote for John McCain.  Now please understand that I am not a John McCain fan, but I am a John McCain supporter.  I have to be because if I put my suppoort behind a third-party candidate, and vote for Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin, I have essentially voted for Barack Obama because these guys simply do not have a chance of winning.  But that’s another article.
