Porky Got A Brand New Book!
The more congress puts their heads together, the more progress we see. It’s amazing how much good can come from our trusted leaders who get together and put aside their party differences and find new ways to spend our money.
We think it’s easy to put pork in a barrel but just try doing it yourself and you will see that it’s no picnic. I mean, $1,762,000 for a honey bee lab in Weslaco, $866,000 for stable fly control in Lincoln, $469,000 for a fruit fly facility in Hawaii, and $413,000 for tri-state joint peanut research, those numbers must take a whole lot of painstaking research and a whole lot of brainstorming.
I couldn’t do it. But thankfully, we have 538 of the finest pork feeding politicians this world could ever hope for in Washington. It’s good to know that we have these kind of folks looking out for our best interest.
It’s better to know that we have these people looking out for our best interest, Citizens Against Government Waste. They have taken the time to put together a summary of spending put forth by Congress that every American needs to examine. It’s called The Pig Book. Read it and weep.
While you’re at it, sign the petition to get this kind of waste under control, unless, of course, you like to feed the pig…
